The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Yambol 2 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Yambol 2 defeated leader Slow & Furious at home 90-74. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Yambol 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Slow & Furious' 50. Yambol 2 forced 23 Slow & Furious turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Georgi Gerganov (185-3) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. Guard Nikolay Ninov (187-3) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Yambol 2 players scored in double figures. Yambol 2's coach Stoyo Cholakov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Maksim Genov (199-87) answered with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Hristo Anguelov (192-89) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Slow & Furious. Yambol 2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Nesebar. Newly promoted Slow & Furious still keeps top place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
