Regular Season Round 22: Triglav - Jezica 72-51

An interesting game for Triglav (20-2) which hosted in Kranj 3rd ranked Jezica (14-6). First ranked Triglav had an easy win 72-51. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jezica. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Triglav forced 21 Jezica turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Jezica's players. Manca Vrecer (178-2) scored 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Ajda Burgar (176-1) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Bosnian Nikolina Delic (184-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Ema Lapajne (176-0) scored 13 points. Jezica's coach Predrag Milovic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Triglav have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-2 record. Jezica at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Triglav will play against Ilrija (#6) in Ljubljana in the next round where they are favorite. Jezica will play at home against the league's second-placed Celje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
