Regular Season Round 16: SISU - Amager 62-92
Date: February 24, 2021
Leader Amager delivered the tenth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked SISU (0-12) 92-62 in Copenhagen. The game without a history. Amager led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 SISU turnovers and outrebounded them 50-34 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international guard Ena Viso (179-93, college: S.Dakota St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Rikke Fabricius (187-92, college: CMU) who added 24 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Amager players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Asta Blauenfeldt (169-2) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Caroline De Klaumann (186-2) scored 10 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amager maintains first position with 10-3 record, which they share with Herlev. Loser SISU still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Amager will meet at home Aabyhoj (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SISU will play against the league's second-placed Herlev and hopes to get finally their first victory.
