The game between Top Four teams took place in Dnipro. Second-best host Dnipro (15-7) lost to first ranked Kyiv Basket (18-4) 84-74. Dnipro was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Kyiv Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Bogdan Bliznyuk (198-95, college: EWU) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and international Olexandr Mishula (192-92) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard D.J. Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio, agency: BIG) with 16 points and 6 assists and the former international forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (203-92) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kyiv Basket maintains first position with 18-4 record. Defending champion Dnipro keeps the second place with seven games lost. Kyiv Basket are looking forward to face Ternopil-TNEU (#4) at home in the next round. Dnipro will have a break next round.
