Everything went according to plan in Deisenhofen where eighth ranked Arvato College Wizards (9-8) beat 11th ranked Oberhaching (4-14) 97-81 on Saturday. Arvato College Wizards shot 69.2 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Rouven Roessler (198-80) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and Irish guard Sean Flood (188-96, college: Longwood) who added 22 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Bernhard Benke (208-97) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and center Bent Leuchten (214-2) scored 18 points. Four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Arvato College Wizards moved-up to seventh place in South. Oberhaching lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Arvato College Wizards will face higher ranked Giessen 2 (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Oberhaching will play against Muenchen 2 (#8) and hope to win that game.
