Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Bamberg (0-3) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Saarlouis Roden (3-7) 79-57 on Saturday. Saarlouis Roden outrebounded Bamberg 50-27 including a 36-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for Austrian Simone Sill (179-99) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Forward Kira Barra (190-98, college: Maine) contributed with 8 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Saarlouis Roden maintains ninth position in South with 3-7 record. Loser Bamberg still closes the standings with three games lost.
