Very predictable result in Karlsruhe where ninth ranked Lions (9-9) beat bottom-ranked Nuernberg (2-14) 90-83. 28 personal fouls committed by Nuernberg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized American Daniel Norl (191-95, college: Omaha) who led the winners and scored 26 points. American point guard KC Ross-Miller (183-91, college: Auburn) accounted for 11 points and 9 assists for the winning side. Center Jonathan Maier (211-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Sebastian Schroeder (195-88) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Nuernberg in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Lions maintains ninth place with 9-9 record.
