Rather expected game when 9th ranked Cherno More (2-15) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Academik Plovdiv (8-9) 84-70. Academik Plovdiv players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Forward Nikolay Nikolov (196-94) notched 20 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American power forward Tony Gugino (207-86, college: Hillsdale) supported him with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Academik Plovdiv players scored in double figures.
