An interesting game for Gruner Stern Keltern (17-2) which hosted in Keltern 3rd ranked Herner TC (12-5). First ranked Gruner Stern Keltern managed to get a 10-point victory 85-75. Gruner Stern Keltern dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Herner TC's 38 and made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Four Herner TC players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-2 record. Herner TC at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Gruner Stern Keltern will play against Osnabrueck (#5) on the road in the next round. Herner TC will play against TV Saarlouis Royals and hopes to get back on the winning track.
