Bottom-ranked OGM Orman managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time newly promoted OGM Orman edged fourth-ranked Tofas in Ankara 77-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tofas. The best player for the winners was American point guard Tu Holloway (183-89, college: Xavier) who scored 12 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Surinamese-Dutch guard Charlon Kloof (190-90, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. OGM Orman's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Trinidad and Tobago-American Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) who recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international Berkan Durmaz (206-97) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. OGM Orman (6-17) moved-up to fifteenth place. Loser Tofas keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with Turk Telekom and Besiktas. OGM Orman will meet higher ranked Dacka (#7) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tofas will play against Besiktas where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
