Regular Season Round 24: Galatasaray - Darussafaka 87-98
Date: March 6, 2021
Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 13th ranked Galatasaray (7-16) was defeated by seventh ranked Dacka (12-11) 98-87 on Saturday. Dacka made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Galatasaray was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of Andrew Andrews (188-93, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and center Grant Jerrett (208-93, college: Arizona) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Dacka players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Jordan Crawford (193-88, college: Xavier) with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Pierre Jackson (180-91, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dacka maintains seventh position with 12-11 record, which they share with Gaziantep and Afyon. Galatasaray lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 16 games lost. Dacka will face OGM Orman (#15) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
