The game in Eisenstadt was also quite interesting. 6th ranked BBU (8-10) played at the court of seventh ranked Nord Dragonz (8-10). Nord Dragonz managed to secure a 6-point victory 79-73 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But BBU won fourth quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nord Dragonz made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Lukas Knor (195-1) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Nord Dragonz's coach Felix Jambor used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Italian guard Raul De La Cruz (185-94) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nord Dragonz moved-up to sixth place, which they share with BBU Salzburg. Nord Dragonz will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BBU will play against the league's second-placed Furstenfeld Panthers (#2) and hope to secure a win.
