Very expected game in Kamianske where 7th ranked Prometey-2 (6-17) was rolled over by second ranked Polytechnic (21-1) 107-80 on Saturday. The game without a history. Polytechnic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Prometey-2's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Christian Bradford (185-95, college: Radford, agency: BIG) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Sergey Startsev (190-97, agency: BIG) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bradford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Igor Klimov (189-1) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ilya Popov (207-2) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Polytechnic and four Prometey-2 players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Polytechnic have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place with 21-1 record having just 2 victories less than leader Krivbas. Prometey-2 lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. Polytechnic will have a break next round. Prometey-2 will play again at home against the league's second-placed Polytechnic (#2) and hope to win that game.
