Everything could happen in Traiskirchen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Arkadia Lions and 10th ranked Timberwolves had identical 3-18 record. This time Arkadia Lions used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Vienna 92-69 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Arkadia Lions. Timberwolves was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arkadia Lions shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Croatian-German forward Luka Kamber (203-94, college: Nicholls St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Bosnian-German guard Filip Kukic (188-98) contributed with 24 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Arkadia Lions players scored in double figures. Forward Philipp DAngelo (198-89) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) added 17 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Timberwolves. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Arkadia Lions maintains ninth place in Places 7-10 with 4-18 record. Timberwolves lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
