Regular Season Round 29: Krivbas - Invasport 99-54

Everything went according to plan in Kryvyi Rih where first ranked Krivbas (22-3) outleveled 8th ranked Invasport (2-22) 99-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Krivbas. Invasport was better in fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Krivbas dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Invasport's 18. They outrebounded Invasport 46-27 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Krivbas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Invasport's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Krivbas made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (185-98, agency: BIG) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Vladislav Frolov (202-98, agency: BIG) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Krivbas players scored in double figures. Point guard Ivan Dudar (180-98) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Oleksandr Fomenko (180-86) added 7 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Krivbas have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-3 record. Newly promoted Invasport keeps the eighth position with 22 games lost. Krivbas will face again Invasport (#8) in Dnipro in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
