Regular Season Round 21: Duzce - Balikesir 73-60

The game between second ranked Balikesir (13-8) and tenth ranked Duzce Belediye (11-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Balikesir was defeated by Duzce Belediye in Duzce 73-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Balikesir. The best player for the winners was American-Jamaican forward Joel James (208-94, college: UNC) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds. American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bahamas center Zane Knowles (208-92, college: TAMUCC, agency: BIG) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and American point guard Myles Mack (178-93, college: Rutgers, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Duzce Belediye moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Balikesir dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Denizli. Duzce Belediye are looking forward to face league's leader Samsun on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Balikesir will play against Mamak and is hoping to win this game.
