There was no surprise when 9th ranked Saarlouis Roden (3-9) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Rhein Main Baskets (5-4) 89-64 on Saturday. Rhein Main Baskets forced 20 Saarlouis Roden turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Svenja Greunke (188-89) who scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Hannah Whitish (175, college: Nebraska) chipped in 24 points. Four Rhein Main Baskets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Austrian Simone Sill (179-99) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Romy Brueck (173-3) added 14 points respectively. Saarlouis Roden's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rhein Main Baskets moved-up to third place in South.
