Seventeenth-ranked 46ers (4-19) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Skyliners (10-13) in Frankfurt. Skyliners managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Skyliners players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Matt Mobley (193-94, college: St.Bonaventure) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 7 assists. Guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Skyliners players scored in double figures. Center John Bryant (211-87, college: Santa Clara) came up with 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks and guard Diante Garrett (193-88, college: Iowa St., agency: Wasserman) added 17 points respectively for 46ers in the defeat. Skyliners have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 10-13 record. 46ers lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 19 games lost. Skyliners' next round opponent will be league's second-placed ALBA Berlin at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. 46ers will play against s Oliver Baskets (#14) and hope to win that game.
