The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked UBSC Graz's (12-10) road victory over 9th ranked Arkadia Lions (4-18) in Traiskirchen 91-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by UBSC Graz. Arkadia Lions was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Nick McGlynn (203-96, college: Drake) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Jacob Ledoux (190-97, college: UTPB) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Croatian center Mario Spaleta (209-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Shawn Ray (194-80, college: NCCU) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Arkadia Lions. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. UBSC Graz maintains eighth place in Places 7-10 with 12-10 record. Loser Arkadia Lions keep the ninth position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
