Very important is a road loss of second ranked Wolfpack (8-12) against fourth ranked Svendborg (16-9) on Wednesday night. Visiting Wolfpack unexpectedly was crushed by in Svendborg 68-111. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 32. Svendborg had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Svendborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Wolfpack's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Svendborg made 8 blocks. American guard Brandon Norfleet (196-93, college: IUP, agency: Inception Sports) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Sebastian Petersen (191-95) chipped in 15 points and 10 assists during the contest. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international point guard August Haas (188-97, college: St.Edward's) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and American guard Dee Franklin (196-92, college: FVSU) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Wolfpack's coach Pascal Coleman gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Svendborg moved-up to third place. Wolfpack lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with 12 games lost. Svendborg will meet league's leader Bakken in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wolfpack will play against Randers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
