Rather predictable result when seventh ranked BC Vienna (14-9) smashed at home 9th ranked Arkadia Lions (4-19) 85-56. The game without a history. BC Vienna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Vienna forced 21 Arkadia Lions turnovers and outrebounded them 30-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Arkadia Lions' players. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (197-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Montenegrin-Serbian center Vladimir Golubovic (212-86) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four BC Vienna players scored in double figures. Croatian center Mario Spaleta (209-95) came up with 13 points and American forward Shawn Ray (194-80, college: NCCU) added 13 points respectively for Arkadia Lions in the defeat. Arkadia Lions' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BC Vienna have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain seventh place in Places 7-10 with 14-9 record. Arkadia Lions at the other side keep the ninth position with 19 games lost. BC Vienna will play against UBSC Graz (#8) on the road in the next round. Arkadia Lions will play against Timberwolves in Vienna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
