We should mention about the upset which took place in Kayseri, where higher ranked Cankaya (15-11) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Kayseri (10-16) 103-66 on Wednesday. Kayseri dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cankaya's 38. Kayseri forced 20 Cankaya turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Forward Sevgi Tonguc (180-2) stepped up and scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Latvian forward Kitija Laksa (186-96, college: S.Florida, agency: Wasserman) chipped in 22 points.
