Very important is a road loss of second ranked Bayern Muenchen (21-5) against sixth ranked Hamburg Towers (15-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Bayern Muenchen was defeated by Hamburg Towers in a tough game in Hamburg 86-91. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Bayern Muenchen.
