Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Duzce Bld (8-13) and Bodrum (8-14), which took place in Duzce. 9th ranked Duzce Bld was outleveled at home by twelfth ranked Bodrum 81-56 on Saturday. Bodrum outrebounded Duzce Bld 49-29 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Angela Tompkins (188-91, college: Wichita St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Helin Boybeyi (184-95) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by Selin Oztekin (-90) did not help to save the game for Duzce Bld. Guard Cansu Cankurt (170-90) added 12 points and 10 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
