An interesting game for Beroe-2 (8-2) which played road game in Troyan against second-best Chavdar (5-9). Third ranked Beroe-2 had an easy win 104-72. Beroe-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Chavdar's 40. They outrebounded Chavdar 50-27 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Beroe-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Chavdar's players. The winners were led by point guard Mihail Kombakov (185-3) who scored that evening 24 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals and forward Damyan Minkov (197-2) supported him with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Beroe-2 players scored in double figures. Even 35 points (!!!) and 6 steals by guard Kamen Penchev (187-0) did not help to save the game for Chavdar. Point guard Gabriel Yonkov (190-0) added 13 points and 9 rebounds. Beroe-2 have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place which they share with defeated Chavdar. Loser Chavdar keeps the second position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
