Regular Season Round 24: Chardafon - Nesebar 68-81

An interesting game for Nesebar (9-1) which played road game in Gabrovo against 4th ranked Chardafon (2-13). First ranked Nesebar managed to get a 13-point victory 81-68. Nesebar dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Chardafon's 32. Nesebar forced 20 Chardafon turnovers and outrebounded them 55-25 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Nesebar brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Emilian Grudov (198-1) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Stoyan Milchev (185-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Krasimir Aleksandrov (-3) who recorded 10 points and 5 rebounds and Martin Milanov (-4) added 5 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Chardafon's coach Antonio Stankov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Nesebar have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Chardafon lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
