An interesting game took place in Bucuresti where 8th ranked Steaua B. (7-11) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Galati (6-11) 87-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Galati. Steaua B. was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Galati won last quarter 28-17. American guard Drew Brandon (193-92, college: EWU) stepped up and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Serbian center Tarik Bruncevic (205-95) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds.
