Regular Season Round 23: Amager - Naestved 72-91

There was a small surprise when fifth ranked Naestved (14-12) outplayed their close opponent Amager (1-21) in Kastrup 91-72 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. Amager was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naestved dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Amager's 26. Naestved forced 25 Amager turnovers and had a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Alante Fenner (196-93, college: SSU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 32 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import Jalen Nesbitt (198-93, college: N.Florida) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-99) answered with 17 points and 7 assists and power forward Andreas Hoier (205-95) added 11 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Amager. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naestved maintains fifth place with 14-12 record which they share with defeated Amager. Amager lost sixteenth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 21 games lost.
