Regular Season Round 8: Postojna - Medvode 74-62

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Postojna as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Postojna defeated bottom-ranked Medvode at home 74-62. The game was mostly controlled by Postojna. Medvode managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Ziga Erculj (182-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Gasper Rojko (200-96) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Postojna players scored in double figures. Forward Jure Ribnikar (196-94) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ziga Zepic (194-98) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Medvode. Medvode's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Postojna have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Medvode at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
