Sopron edged Miskolc to sweeep 2-0 the series. Sopron dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Miskolc's 30. They outrebounded Miskolc 36-22 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sopron looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international center Bernadett Hatar (208-94) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and French-American forward Gabby Williams (180-96, college: UConn, agency: Wasserman) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Sopron's coach Giustino Altobelli felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International center Angelika Kiss (192-1) responded with 14 points and guard Veronika Kanyasi (178-99) scored 8 points.
