We should mention about the upset which took place in Duzce, where 11th ranked Duzce Bld (8-15) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Istanbul Univ. (5-18) 65-77. American forward Shayla Cooper (188-95, college: Ohio St.) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and center Eylul Minez (185-99) supported her with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Even 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Cansu Cankurt (170-90) did not help to save the game for Duzce Bld. Saliha Mandiraci (169-2) added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Istanbul Univ. moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Karsiyaka.
