The game in Karsiyaka supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Bahcesehir (5-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (2-6). Bahcesehir smashed Pinar Karsiyaka 99-52 on Thursday. Bahcesehir dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pinar Karsiyaka's 30. They outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 48-27 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bahcesehir looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Pinar Karsiyaka's players. The best player for the winners was center Ahmet Yilmaz (206-4) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 24 rebounds (on 15-of-17 shooting from the field). Forward Ali Yuceoral (203-2) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Bahcesehir players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Murat Dere (-3) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and Bartu Kocbug (-2) added 13 points and 4 steals respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahcesehir maintains fifth place with 5-4 record. Pinar Karsiyaka lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
