Leader Rilski delivered the twentieth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Cherno More (2-19) 108-59 in Varna. Rilski dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 34. They outrebounded Cherno More 55-18 including a 42-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Chilean-American power forward Nicolas Carvacho (211-97, college: Colorado St.) who added 14 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Rilski players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Martin Jordanov (207-2) with 10 points and swingman Aleksandar Stoykov (197-1) scored 8 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski (20-2) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Cherno More lost seventeenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Rilski will meet at home Beroe (#4) in the next round. Cherno More will play against the league's second-placed Levski Lukoil (#2) and hope to secure a win.
