Rather predictable result in Bucuresti where ninth ranked Dinamo B. (8-8) beat 11th ranked Focsani (5-15) 78-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo B.. Focsani managed to win third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo B. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Focsani's 26. The best player for the winners was Slovenian swingman Jakob Cebasek (200-91) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jamaican-Canadian point guard Javon Masters (183-94, college: UNB, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. Dinamo B.'s coach Hristu Sapera used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian forward Milos Pesic (206-84, agency: 011 Sports) who recorded 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Jimmie Taylor (193-94, college: Rider) added 5 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Dinamo B. maintains ninth position with 8-8 record. Focsani lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Dinamo B. are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Miercurea Ciuc (#14) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Focsani will play against Craiova and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
