Very significant was Schwelm's (#3) 99-89 road victory against their biggest opponent Giessen 2. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Schwelm players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Giessen 2's players. The winners were led by American point guard Montrael Scott (191-93, college: PVAMU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and American-Panamanian Anell Alexis (200-90, college: Marist) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds.
