The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Sixers (2-1) in Dresden on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Titans (3-0) 94-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sixers. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Titans dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sixers' 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lennard Larysz (194-97) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 7 assists and 6 steals and center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) who added 22 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Titans' coach Fabian Strauss used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Serbian center Djordje Pantelic (204-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Lucien Schmikale (194-97) scored 27 points. Four Sixers players scored in double figures. Titans have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record, which they share with Muenster. Sixers at the other side still keep top place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
