Regular Season Round 28: Braunschweig - Ludwigsburg 71-107

Date: April 13, 2021
BBL top team - EnBW Ludwigsburg (26-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Braunschweig (10-18) 107-71. EnBW Ludwigsburg shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American Barry Brown Jr (190-96, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and the other American import Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) who added 17 points and 11 assists during the contest. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American center Gavin Schilling (206-95, college: Michigan St.) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Arnas Velicka (192-99) scored 9 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-2 record. Braunschweig at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Chemnitz. EnBW Ludwigsburg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Braunschweig will play on the road against the league's second-placed ALBA Berlin (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
