Regular Season Round 16: Turk Telekom - TAC NEF 60-63

The most exciting game of round 16 in the U19 League took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Turk Telekom (3-4) to third ranked TAC NEF (5-2) 63-60 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. TAC NEF forced 23 Turk Telekom turnovers. Ege Yildizoglu (-4) fired 29 points and 4 assists for the winners. Hakan Cakir (-1) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mevlut Dogan (201-3) added 4 points and 16 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TAC NEF have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Tesvikiye. Turk Telekom at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. TAC NEF is looking forward to face Lokman Hekim (#10) in Fethiye in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Turk Telekom will play on the road against the league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
