There was no surprise when 9th ranked Ormanspor (1-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked Tesvikiye (5-2) 73-68 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Tesvikiye forced 30 Ormanspor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ege Eskinazi (-2) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Berkay Terzi (-3) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Mehmet Yakar (-3) responded with 15 points and 5 assists and Yahya Turksoy (-4) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tesvikiye maintains second position with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Tofas, which they share with TAC NEF. Loser Ormanspor keeps the ninth place with six games lost. Tesvikiye will meet Petkim Spor (#5) in the next round. Ormanspor will play against Darussafaka (#4) and hope to win that game.
