Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Chemnitz (10-18) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Crailsheim Merlins (20-9) 85-73. Crailsheim Merlins forced 21 Chemnitz turnovers. Chemnitz was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-95, college: Vermont, agency: BeoBasket) who scored that evening 25 points and 8 assists and American forward Jeremy Jones (201-96, college: Gonzaga) supported him with 17 points and 5 steals.
