Artland Dragons recorded a loss on the court of Rostock on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Rostock 78-66. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Trevor Lacey (188-91, college: NC State) scored 18 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American point guard Bradley Loesing (183-89, college: Wofford) chipped in 10 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Rostock's coach Dirk Bauermann used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American Gerel Simmons (188-93, college: LMU) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Zachary Ensminger (195-1) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Rostock will meet Bayer Giants in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Artland Dragons will play against Science City Jena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
