Leader Bursa delivered the twenty fifth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 15th ranked Ceyhan (4-22) 101-47. Bursa dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Ceyhan's 34. They outrebounded Ceyhan 53-37 including 16 on the offensive glass. Bursa looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ceyhan's players. Binnur Aydogmus (-0) stepped up and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American-Nigerian power forward Ashley Ezeh (191-92, college: Texas St.) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Bursa players scored in double figures. Bursa's coach Murat Alkas felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Halime Vural (-98) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Fatma Icacan (-1) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Bursa (25-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place. Ceyhan lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 22 games lost. Bursa will meet Yalova Vip (#5) on the road in the next round. Ceyhan will play against Mersin Univ. (#9) and hope to secure a win.
