Regular Season Round 9: Kedainiu - Siauliu 70-66

Kedainiu has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Siauliu (2-4) 70-66. Siauliu was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a good game for Rytis Sinickas (-4) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Armandas Macinavicius (-3) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Vilius Slanina (-3) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Mantas Litvinas (-3) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Siauliu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Siauliu's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kedainiu maintains ninth place with 1-5 record, which they share with Vilniaus KM II. Siauliu at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Kedainiu's next round opponent will be higher ranked Tornado KM (#8) in Kaunas and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
