LKL top team - Zalgiris (29-3) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked P.Zvaigzdes (12-21) in Kaunas 107-83. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 107-83. Zalgiris outrebounded P.Zvaigzdes 33-18 including 24 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 55.9 percentage. Zalgiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Nigel Hayes (203-94, college: Wisconsin, agency: Network Sports International) who scored that evening 18 points and 4 assists and the former international guard Marius Grigonis (198-94) supported him with 11 points and 4 assists.
