Very expected game in Izmir where 14th ranked Karsiyaka (6-22) was crushed by third ranked Emlak Konut (20-8) 82-59. Emlak Konut dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Karsiyaka's 28. They outrebounded Karsiyaka 60-27 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Emlak Konut players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Karsiyaka's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Bahar Yapar (179-89) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. Romanian Devran Tanacan (-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Emlak Konut players scored in double figures. Selin Gul (184-3) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Merve Usal (-94) added 15 points in the effort for Karsiyaka. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Emlak Konut maintains third place with 20-8 record having seven points less than leader Bursa. Karsiyaka lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost.
