Regular Season Round 10: Tornado KM - Kedainiu 94-88

The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Kedainiu (2-6) played at the court of eighth ranked Tornado KM (3-5). Tornado KM managed to secure a 6-point victory 94-88 on Tuesday. Kedainiu trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 25-15 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 88-94 at the end of the game. Tornado KM looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Kedainiu's players. Guard Benas Alisauskas (173-3) fired 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Matas Rocka (196-3) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tornado KM players scored in double figures. Tornado KM's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Laurynas Bareika (-3) produced 39 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Kajus Lapienis (-3) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Tornado KM moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Perkunas. Loser Kedainiu dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Tornado KM will face Siauliu (#8) in Siauliai in the next round. Kedainiu will play at home against Zalgiris II and hope to win that game.
