Very expected game when 6th ranked Manisa (17-13) was defeated on the road by second ranked Samsun (20-10) 85-76. They made 25-of-27 charity shots (92.6 percent) during the game. Samsun outrebounded Manisa 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Manisa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-95, college: Niagara, agency: Alti Sport) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and forward Mert Sert (198-96, college: UMass Dartmouth) supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by forward Umut Gecen (-97) did not help to save the game for Manisa. Guard Recep Dogrusoz (192-86) added 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Manisa's coach Ceyhun Cabadak rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Samsun maintains second position with 20-10 record having just two points less than leader Denizli. Manisa lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost.
