Bottom-ranked Rasta Vechta managed to get the second consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they outleveled sixteenth-ranked s Oliver Baskets in Wuerzburg 95-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 33-point difference proves that Rasta Vechta was well-prepared to that game. They also forced 20 s Oliver Baskets turnovers and outrebounded them 43-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Rasta Vechta looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international power forward Philipp Herkenhoff (208-99) fired 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Dominican-American point guard Edgar Sosa (190-88, college: Louisville) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. American forward Brekkott Chapman (206-96, college: Weber St.) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and his fellow American import guard Robert Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rasta Vechta maintains eighteenth position with 7-27 record. s Oliver Baskets lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 25 games lost. They share the position with MBC.
