Uni Baskets used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Allmendingen 98-81 on Saturday night. Uni Baskets made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Ehingen/Urspringschule's players. American point guard Jordan Barnes (179-97, college: Indiana St.) fired 32 points and 9 assists for the winners. His fellow American import guard Jackson Trapp (193-92, college: FAU) chipped in 16 points. Trapp is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Uni Baskets players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Price (205-96, college: S.Indiana) produced 29 points and 9 rebounds and Tim Martinez (195-2) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Uni Baskets will meet Gladiators in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against Eagles and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
