Leverkusen used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rostock 95-85 on Friday night. Leverkusen made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Luis Figge (197-97) who scored 25 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots). American JJ Mann (198-91, college: Belmont) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Till Gloger (204-93, college: Maine) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Tyler Nelson (190-95, college: Fairfield, agency: BIG) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leverkusen will meet Falcons in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Seawolves will play against Walter Tigers and hope to win that game.
